ONLY 25

The work ONLY 25 was conceptualized with the need to relate to people watching a performance in an intimate surrounding and get them involved in participating with a gentle persuasion by moving them from their comfort zone of sitting and watching a performance to moving around creating different spaces and places for the dance to happen. 

The work begins by taking people's possessions i.e. handbag, purse, coat and bags which immediately disarms everyone as they begin to understand that something else is about to happen. There are no program notes on purpose.

By the end of the show, the people that came in not knowing one another are bonded by the collective experience they shared.

This type of work is almost like a peace project without words, language, age limitation or cultural boundaries. It's about the human chip that is our bond and it works, every time
